We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to fuel our outbound sales pipeline. As the Business Development Representative on our Sales Development team, you will work closely with Demand Generation and Sales to qualify target accounts and drive prospective pipeline growth. Your strengths in multi-channel prospecting, customer qualification, and sales outreach will drive your success.
You will report to the Director of Sales Development and will be based in Chicago, Illinois This role requires up to 25% domestic travel for trade shows, training sessions, and company events.
What You’ll Do
Generate qualified pipeline through targeted prospecting and multi-channel outreach (calls, email, social engagement) into agreed target accounts to expand our customer base.
Convert outbound and inbound interest into well-qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives by running structured qualification conversations.
Maintain high, disciplined activity levels and accurate CRM hygiene to consistently meet quarterly qualified opportunity targets.
Partner with Demand Generation and Sales on account and territory strategies, aligning campaigns, sequences, and follow-up cadences to maximize conversion.
Share timely field insights on messaging, personas, tools, lead quality, and campaign performance to continuously improve sales effectiveness.
Provide actionable feedback to marketing and sales leadership on prospect interactions and market trends to shape future strategies.
Adapt outreach strategies proactively to manage priorities and meet evolving business needs.
What You Bring
6+ months of high-performing experience in a BDR/SDR or similar high-volume outreach role, ideally within SaaS or Construction Technology.
Demonstrated comfort with cold calling, multi-channel prospecting, and utilizing sales automation and power dialer tools.
Experience conducting consultative customer qualification calls and managing pipeline activities.
Proficiency with modern sales tech stacks, including Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms.
Ability to build and execute account-based prospecting plans, including organizational mapping and key decision-maker identification.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft concise, personalized outreach.

89,600.00 - 123,200.00 USD AnnualThis role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation.
