We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to play a pivotal role in fueling our sales pipeline. As the Business Development Representative on our Demand Generation team, you will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to prioritize timely follow-up with inbound leads and expand our customer base. Your strengths in multi-channel prospect engagement, discovery qualification, and consultative communication will drive your success.

You will report to the Director of Sales Development and will be based in Chicago, Illinois. This is a position requires flexibility to collaborate across time zones, and up to 25% domestic travel may be required for trade shows, training sessions, and company events.

What You’ll Do

  • Prioritize and execute immediate follow-up with inbound leads from marketing campaigns, demo requests, and webinars through multi-channel outreach to maximize conversion and pipeline coverage.

  • Conduct initial discovery calls to understand prospect needs and qualify them against our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).

  • Ensure a smooth transition of qualified prospects to the Sales team to support pipeline growth.

  • Provide actionable feedback to the Demand Generation and Sales leadership teams on lead quality, campaign effectiveness, and market trends to help shape future strategies.

  • Maintain high, disciplined multi-channel activity (calls, email, live chat, video, LinkedIn) and accurate CRM hygiene to consistently meet opportunity targets.

  • Partner with Demand Generation and Sales on account and territory strategies, aligning campaigns, sequences, messaging, and follow-up cadences.

  • Share timely field insights on messaging, personas, tools, and lead quality to inform experimentation and continuously improve plays and processes.

  • Take ownership of your pipeline, managing priorities and adapting outreach strategies to meet evolving business needs.

What You Bring

  • 6+ months of experience in a BDR/SDR role or relevant industry experience (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction - AEC).

  • Comfort operating in a high-volume outbound environment using multi-channel engagement tools and power dialers.

  • Technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn product functionality to address initial technical inquiries during qualification calls.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to actively listen, identify prospect pain points, handle objections, and educate prospects consultatively.

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills to manage a high-volume lead queue and follow-up tasks efficiently.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (such as Salesforce) and modern sales technologies (e.g., Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Chili Piper).

  • A self-aware, coachable approach with the ability to implement feedback in real time to adapt to changing market needs.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range:

26.25 - 36.10 USD Annual

On Target Earning Range:

78,000.00 - 107,250.00 USD Annual

This role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
