We’re looking for Data Engineer to join Data domain team in Procore’s Construction Intelligence org. In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms that power analytics, product insights, and operational systems.

As a Data engineer, you’ll partner with Product Managers and Application Engineers to build complex data workflows, improve platform reliability, and contribute to architectural decisions. Use your SQL, Python, Scala to empower end customers with actionable insights through data discovery. Join a culture that values clean design, observability, reliability, and continuous improvement. This position reports into Sr.Manager - Data Engieering and will be based in our Bengaluru office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do: (6-8 bullets)

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines.

• Develop robust ETL/ELT processes using modern data stack technologies.

• Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• Ensure data quality, completeness, and reliability across domains.

• Contribute to data architecture decisions and technical design discussions.

• Implement data modeling best practices (dimensional modeling, star schema, medallion architecture).

What we’re looking for: (6-8 bullets)

• MCA or Bachelor/Master Degree in Engineering or related fields

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience

• Experience building data pipelines with SQL, Python or Scala.

• Experience with Databricks or similar lakehouse platforms.

• Knowledge of streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub).

• Understanding of CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.

• Exposure to large-scale data migrations or platform modernization.
