The Product Design team at Procore is a group of strategic partners who define and deliver all user-facing aspects of our platform. You will join the Resource Management group, which is responsible for how contractors manage their most vital assets: labor, equipment, and materials.

Specifically, you will lead design for the Materials team. We are a field-first group dedicated to digitizing the entire material lifecycle—bridging the gap between the field teams installing work and the office teams procuring resources. We work directly with Engineers and Product Managers as strategic partners to turn complex physical logistics into high-quality digital experiences that connect the yard directly to project financials and the budget in real-time.

What you’ll do:

You will lead the end-to-end design strategy for our Materials suite, collaborating closely with other designers to set a high bar for craft and quality experience. This role is a mix of product strategy and new feature development, offering the opportunity to understand the unique constraints of the construction site to build solutions that help contractors stay profitable and on schedule.

  • Lead a full redesign and upgrade complex legacy tools into a modern, native SaaS experience.

  • Deliver high-quality, user-centered designs that digitize the movement of physical goods from the warehouse to the jobsite.

  • Design, prototype, and test intuitive mobile and web experiences that make complicated supply chain flows feel simple and clear.

  • Collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers to define long-term strategy for resource management.

  • Understand how to build for AI and automation to simplify how users reconcile physical paperwork with digital financial records.

  • Share work regularly in design reviews and contribute to a strong culture of feedback and iteration.

  • Presenting your design work and decisions to customers, executives, and cross functional teams.

  • Guide a large engineering organization with clear, unambiguous reasoning, minimizing assumptions in the final product's technical details.

  • Drive design discovery through customer research, meeting users on job sites and in back offices to observe their work firsthand.

What we are looking for :

  • 10+ years of experience leading design for complex B2B Enterprise SaaS.

  • Strong technical background, such as prior experience working in logistics, inventory management, or complex SaaS tools.

  • developed a strong prototyping practice and utilized AI to increase design velocity.

  • Portfolio that demonstrates a mastery of systems thinking, end-to-end ownership, strong design fundamentals, and polished craft.

  • Experience designing complex tools for both mobile and desktop.

  • Experience working with, and contributing to, enterprise-scale design systems to support specialized, data-heavy use cases.

  • Articulate and polished communicator, confident in presenting design rationale to leadership and external stakeholders.

  • Enjoy spending time with customers in their environment, and are willing to travel for work and team visits.

  • Strong ability to influence product direction and advocate for the user in high-stakes utility environments.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range:

168,560.00 - 231,770.00 USD Annual

This role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
