We’re looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Customer Adoption team in Bangalore. This is a new team with a mission to develop experiences that help customers achieve their outcomes with Procore’s products.
In this role, you’ll help build the end-to-end onboarding and adoption experience for Procore customers worldwide. You’ll work across the front-end and back-end stack to deliver customer-facing features that connect with Procore’s Data and AI platforms.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering and will be based in our Bangalore, India office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
Build features across the Adoption and Onboarding team’s full stack services and customer-facing experiences, with guidance from senior engineers.
Write code across our React and TypeScript frontend and Node.js backend services, contributing to well-defined features and bug fixes.
Consume and contribute to REST and GraphQL APIs, learning best practices for schema design, performance, and authentication along the way.
Work with features that integrate data pipelines and AI-powered capabilities into the onboarding and adoption experience.
Write tests, fix bugs, and help keep our services healthy, secure, and observable.
Use AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, and similar) in your day-to-day work to ship quality code faster.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, with support from senior engineers on the team.
Communicate your work clearly to teammates through pull requests, stand-ups, and team discussions.
Actively seek feedback through code reviews and design discussions, and continue growing as an engineer.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience.
2+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience building and scaling production web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (such as React, Vue, or Angular) and TypeScript. You should be comfortable working across the entire stack, from frontend components to Node.js or similar backend environments.
Experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs.
Demonstrated experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, including a solid grasp of SQL fundamentals, schema design, and the ability to write efficient queries for feature development.
Comfortable using AI coding tools (for example Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) as part of your development workflow.
Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming, testing, and common design principles.
Working understanding of version control (Git), CI/CD, and the basics of deploying and monitoring software.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, or willingness to learn.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a willingness to ask questions and seek feedback.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
