We’re looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager, Developer Platform to join Procore’s Platform Services / Cloud Platform Engineering team. In this role, you’ll treat our 1,000+ internal developers as your primary customers and take full ownership of the developer platform roadmap. You will shape the future of Procore’s developer platform by building for both human engineers and the thousands of AI agents operating alongside them.
As a Senior Technical Product Manager, Developer Platform, you’ll partner with engineering teams, architects, and security leads to turn infrastructure provisioning into a seamless, policy-driven platform capability. Use your deep technical experience, developer advocacy, and product vision to create golden paths that improve developer velocity across the entire organization. This position reports into the Group Product Manager and will be based in our Cairo, Egypt office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
AI is central to how we work. You’ll be expected to master generative tools and agentic workflows, moving beyond just using AI to actively building the agentic future of construction
Define and maintain "golden paths" for building, testing, and deploying across standard frameworks like Ruby and Go.
Transform infrastructure provisioning into automated, policy-enforced platform capabilities that resolve in minutes.
Embed security, compliance, and cost governance directly into the platform via policy-as-code and automated remediation.
Standardize built-in observability, distributed tracing, and real-time spend attribution across all newly created services.
Design agent-native platform capabilities, typed interfaces, and audit trails that serve both human developers and AI agents.
Establish and drive the overarching technical product vision and standards for engineering practices across Procore.
Engage with internal engineering teams to resolve architectural friction points and drive high platform adoption.
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of experience building infrastructure, developer tools, or platforms at SaaS scale.
Strong technical background with prior hands-on experience as a Software Engineer, Systems Architect, SRE, or DevRel practitioner.
Expertise in modern cloud infrastructure tools, including Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and secrets management.
Deep knowledge of telemetry and observability tools, such as OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, and logging/metrics aggregators.
Proven track record of defining, launching, and driving adoption for complex technical products against engineering pushback.
Strong collaborative mindset and temperament required to partner closely with skeptical senior engineers to co-create solutions.
Practical understanding of agentic development paradigms and how AI integration impacts platform guarantees.
