Senior Financial Analyst, Product and Technology

Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst, Product and Technology will apply attention to detail and analytical skills to support business partnering across the Research and Development and Information Technology organizations. This individual will drive value with a particular focus on ensuring accuracy and evaluating trends to provide financial visibility to Procore’s Product & Technology business partners, including Engineering, Product and IT leaders, as well as key Strategy & Operations stakeholders.

This individual reports to the Senior Manager of FP&A, Product & Tech and can work remotely from any US location. We are looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Build trusted, collaborative partnerships with colleagues across Finance and the Product & Tech teams.
• Develop, analyze, and communicate complex financial analysis that empowers our business leaders and executives to make strategic decisions.
• Monitor progress against budgets and assess risks and opportunities, enabling investment trade-offs for your business partners.
• Champion month end close process, including headcount management/reconciliation, accrual validation, and variance analysis.
• Drive process improvements and uplevel current financial reporting through partnership and collaboration with Finance and Business Partner peers.
• Provide insights through monthly/quarterly financial reporting shared with Finance and Product and Tech stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, investment banking, or private equity
• Public company experience preferred, SaaS experience is a plus
• Expert knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard business software is required
• Experience with Financial Management systems, such as Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan, Hyperion, Netsuite, Coupa, etc.
• Experience performing in-depth financial analysis and effectively communicating findings to key stakeholders and business leaders
• Attention to detail and ability to consistently generate a high-quality work product
• Adept communication skills, both written and verbal, and an understanding of how to synthesize details depending on the audience
• Hungry, yet humble, remaining passionate for delivering results in a fast-paced, data-driven environment

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $63,232 - $86,944. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
