Job Description

Procore is looking to hire an International New Hire Orientation Specialist to join the Talent Development (TD) team. In this role, you’ll coordinate and facilitate Procore’s virtual new hire orientation program across the EMEA and APAC regions. Additionally, you’ll support the TD team by facilitating in-region training for other department initiatives, like Manager Development and Performance Engagement.

 

As an Orientation Specialist, you’ll create an unforgettable experience that builds connection, clarity, and confidence for new hires in their first few weeks. You’ll be successful in this role if you love facilitating, are detail-oriented, and have strong stakeholder management skills. 

 

This is a full-time position that reports into the Manager, Learning Experience within the Global Talent Organization. This role can be located in either Bangalore or Pune, India, and is hybrid. The role will be required to have flexible work hours, and attend some early evening meetings. We are looking for someone to join us immediately.

 

What you’ll do: 

Facilitation

  • Facilitate Procore’s Virtual New Hire Orientation program, ensuring new employees in EMEA and APAC have a successful start. 

  • Be the helping hand for new hires in their first weeks, serving as their point of contact for any issues that arise and leaning in where necessary to troubleshoot with various global teams.

  • Partner with members of the Talent Development (TD) team to facilitate in-region training sessions for other TD initiatives, like Performance Engagement and Manager Development. 

Coordination

  • Organize Orientation schedules across different time zones, ensuring calendar invites and agendas are kept up to date for new hires and presenters. 

  • ​​Design and maintain communication plans for New Hires, Hiring Managers, Presenters and Onboarding Partners. 

  • Coordinate with department onboarding teams to ensure a cohesive training experience for new hires. 

  • Maintain program materials (such as slides, workbooks, program collateral, etc), ensuring they stay up to date. Work with stakeholders across the business to ensure accuracy of information. 

  • Enable in-office facilitators to host additional onboarding sessions for local hires. 

  • Report on upcoming new hires and share out to stakeholders.

  • Respond to start date changes and inquiries submitted by recruiters. Ensure systems are updated with correct information based on changes made. 

  • Keep proper records of relevant orientation data such as attendance, assessment evaluations, and feedback surveys.

Program Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across different regions, timezones and departments to support key processes related to new hires

  • Partner with the North American Orientation Specialist to maintain consistency across regions and build training or programs to address needs.

  • Identify opportunities for localized training solutions through collaboration with regional leaders, hiring managers and onboarding stakeholders. 

  • Partner with other members of the Global Talent Organization to assist with special projects.

What we’re looking for: 

  • 3+ years of human resources or project management experience

  • Strong facilitation / presentation skills, engaging and approachable

  • Excellent communication skills via email, phone, online, and in person

  • Experience training in a virtual classroom (Zoom, Teams, WebEx, etc)

  • Ability to stay energised in a fully virtual environment. Includes up to 30 hours of Zoom per week.

  • Customer service attitude - must be able to interface with entry-level associates to executive leadership

  • Detail-oriented and highly organised, with strong decision-making abilities

  • Professional experience using G Suite (Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides) 

  • Strong ability to collaborate, share, drive best practices
