We’re looking for a Sr Director, IT Engineering and Operations to join Procore’s Product & Technology Team. We are looking for a Sr. Director, IT Engineering and Operations who will be accountable for all of IT Infrastructure, Network, Collaboration & Productivity tools along with Operations and End User Services supporting over 4,000 employees. The key focus will be to continuously strengthen and improve our Digital Employee Experience to deliver friction-free experiences whether in the office or at home - across the global. This position will report to our SVP Business Technology and be based in Austin, TX. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.
What you'll do:
Bring your thought leadership and innovative presence to continuously find ways to uplift user experiences through the use of AI, automation, tools and applications. Meeting employees where they are at to help give back time to focus on their core responsibilities. Driving friction-free user experiences for all Procore employees while maintaining high levels of employee satisfaction
Build a world-class IT Engineering and Operations organization that maintains a highly collaborative working relationship with the end-user community, our business leaders, and technology teams
Demonstrate executive-level thought leadership, strategic business development, technical innovation, and financial and operational planning
Manage direct reports (Directors, Manager) to ensure the efficient and secure global operation of the corporate network, internet circuits and firewalls, Telephony, Collaboration and Productivity tools, conference rooms and all IT equipment and infrastructure. This includes managing the global and remote IT technical staff, responsible for monitoring and diagnosing network and hardware problems, IT incident management, device and asset management, help desk and license compliance.
Be part of the Business Technology leadership team to drive overall strategy and operations for the organization
What we're looking for:
BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience; or a related field is preferred
10+ years of experience operating in a SaaS environment leading the IT Infrastructure, Engineering & Operations and End User Services function with the experience of managing and developing talent globally
Strong ability to develop strategy for organization, execute, lead transformation and drive implementation while engaging with C-level executives and individual contributors
Experience managing IT vendors and contracts and relationships with Hardware, Software and Managed Services Providers(MSPs)
Proven ability to actively establish operating plans and drive the operational cadence needed to achieve the plan in an organization size of 4000+ people.
Strong knowledge and experience with ITIL (ITIL certification preferred)
Possess the savvy to work across organizational lines within the company and influence key internal executives and business line Directors.
Highly self-motivated and directed with a high sense of urgency; proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Ability to work flexible hours, managing and supporting remote and global staff, environments, and business areas
Additional Information
Base Pay Range $203,200 - $279,400. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
