Procore is looking for a Field Chief Operating Officer (Field COO) to serve as a critical strategic bridge between our key enterprise customers in the European market and Procore's leadership. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, VPs, and C-Suite leaders of the largest construction firms and owners in Europe.
You will help translate complex business imperatives into technical strategies, ensuring Procore's platform is the cornerstone of our customers' digital transformation roadmaps. You will also serve as a key public voice for the European region—shaping how the regional construction industry thinks about technology, data, and the future of how we build. This is a high-visibility leadership role requiring operational credibility, digital fluency, and strong storytelling, sitting at the intersection of Revenue, Product & Technology, and Market Influence.
This position reports to the Chief Experience Officer (Field CXO) and can be based in our London or Dublin Office.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Strategy & Customer Alignment
Trusted Advisor: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer executives (VPs, Directors, and C-Suite) based on shared practical operational experience.
Digital Transformation: Collaborate on 3–5 year technology roadmaps, articulating how Procore's platform impacts business KPIs such as improved productivity, increased margins, and reduced risk within the European market.
Operational Acumen: Leverage a strong understanding of construction profit and loss (P&L), risk management, and capital allocation to align Procore's value proposition with executive business goals.
Thought Leadership & Industry Evangelism
Industry Representation: Represent Procore as a featured speaker at regional industry summits, trade events, and customer conferences across Europe. Deliver high-impact narratives that redefine how the industry thinks about technology and the digital jobsite.
Industry Thought Leadership: Contribute to the creation of white papers, frameworks, and point-of-view content that establish Procore's authority on topics including AI in construction, data interoperability, and the business case for digital transformation.
Revenue & GTM Partnership
Deal Acceleration: Partner with European Sales Leadership and Strategic Account Executives to de-risk and close critical regional deals and "Must-Win" opportunities.
Technical & Architectural Validation: Provide technical validation and architectural strategy across the entire capital program and project lifecycle (Program Management, Preconstruction, Field Execution, and Closeout).
Storytelling & Presence: Use exceptional presentation skills to engage senior leaders, translating "code to boardroom" through compelling industry narratives.
P&T Strategic Liaison
High-Fidelity Feedback: Act as the "Voice of the European Field," translating complex regional operational requirements into actionable insights for Product and Engineering teams.
Strategic Innovation: Identify emerging market trends in Europe (e.g., sustainability mandates, regional data interoperability, robotics) to help inform R&D investment.
Design Partner Recruitment: Recruit and manage strategic European customers as beta/design partners for next-gen product initiatives.
Qualifications
Leadership Experience: Demonstrated senior leadership experience in the construction industry, including experience in a director-level role (e.g., Regional Director, Senior Project Executive, Director of Operations, or similar).
European Market Expertise: Deep understanding of the European construction landscape, including regional market dynamics, regulations, and procurement methods.
Industry Domain: Strong expertise in construction P&L, risk management, and capital allocation across various project lifecycle stages.
Digital Fluency: Proven track record of evaluating, championing, or implementing enterprise-level construction technology (SaaS, ERP, or similar).
Strong Storytelling DNA: A proven communicator with experience presenting to large groups and distilling complex technical and business concepts into narratives that move audiences to action.
Strategic Vision: Ability to connect technology implementation to tangible business outcomes and high-level KPIs.
Travel: 25–30%. Presence at regional events, customer executive briefings, and on-site engagements with Procore's most strategic European accounts.
Success Metrics
Sourced Pipeline: Number of new Stage 3 opportunities created directly from personal network or outreach, specifically within target European accounts.
Regional Target Over-attainment (ARR): Total sales target attainment for the primary segments supported in the European market.
Net Expansion Rate of Sponsored Accounts: Net retention of strategic accounts in which you serve as the Executive Sponsor.
Thought Leadership Output: Speaking appearances, authored content, and measurable regional market influence generated per year.
