Job Description

We’re looking for a Facility Operations Specialist to join the Procore team in Austin, TX. In this role, you’ll support Procore’s Office Operations  team and employees, helping make Procore an amazing place to work 

As a Facility Operations Specialist, you’ll partner with a wide range of departments to ensure the facilities and workplace are operating properly and continuously improving. You will interact with a diverse employee population, troubleshooting building maintenance issues,  handling shipping and receiving, furniture and desk requests, and assisting with event set-ups and breakdowns. A successful candidate will be able to problem solve, execute plans, and have a broad construction/maintenance skill set. You're organized, proactive, and able to prioritize a wide range of tasks. You work well in a team setting and have a customer service attitude, as this role interacts with all of our employees, executives, and vendors.

This position will be based in our Austin, TX office and is a full-time in-office role. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately. No two days will be the same for this position. A strong customer service attitude is required!

What you’ll do:

  • Respond to urgent maintenance issues and facilities tickets, and assist in the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the facilities

  • Manage domestic and international shipping and receiving for all office mail and freight shipments. Will work with UPS, USPS, FEDEX, freight carriers, and moving companies.

  • Assist in the build-out and installation of desks, desk equipment, furniture, and in conjunction with the IT department

  • Regularly perform walk-throughs of our campus, check in and build relationships with employees, ensuring they have a world-class work environment to do their best work

  • Under direction, perform basic building repairs and escalate issues to appropriate vendors and building management.

  • Help with office moves

  • Perform building inspections such as checking exit signs, fire extinguishers, and emergency exits, lighting, interior, and exterior cosmetic deficiencies.

  • Assist with on and off-site events setup and breakdown

  • Other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for: 

  • Fluent in written and verbal English, excellent communication skills

  • 2+ yrs active construction, maintenance, or facilities experience

  • Intermediate knowledge of shipping and receiving (domestic and international), UPS, USPS, FEDEX, and Freight carriers. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • A proactive and positive attitude

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $22 - $30. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
