We are looking for a Director of Learning & Development (L&D) to join our Global GTM Enablement leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will be the chief architect of our learning ecosystem, owning the end-to-end strategy for onboarding, ongoing skill development, and the content infrastructure that powers our global go-to-market teams.
As a core member of the Enablement leadership team, you will lead a high-performing group of instructional designers, platform specialists, and program managers. Your mission is to transform complex product and sales strategies into digestible, role-based learning experiences that drive measurable performance. You will ensure our "learning factory" is scalable, tech-enabled, and deeply aligned with our global business objectives.
This position reports to the Vice President of Global GTM Enablement and will be a key partner in shaping the future of how our GTM talent grows and succeeds. This role can be based in our Austin, TX office or remotely within the U.S. We are looking for someone to join us immediately.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Scale the Team: Manage and mentor a world-class team of Instructional Designers, LMS Admins, and Learning Specialists. Foster a culture of creativity, technical excellence, and data-driven design.
Own the Onboarding Journey & Certification Framework: Design and execute a global, role-based onboarding and certification strategy that reduces "time to productivity" for new hires across Sales, CS, and Marketing. Partner with the Enablement team to build and operationalize a multi-tiered certification program, including: role-based, product-based, and skill-based certifications.
Learning Experience Architecture: Serve as the lead consultant for learning experiences, ensuring all enablement content—from virtual workshops to on-demand modules—is pedagogically sound, engaging, and high-impact.
Manage the Enablement Tech Stack: Provide strategic oversight and day-to-day management of our LMS/LXP and CMS platforms. Ensure these tools are optimized for user experience, content discoverability, and reporting.
Content Strategy & CMS Management: Oversee the lifecycle of all enablement content. Establish governance for CMS management to ensure our global "source of truth" is always accurate, fresh, and accessible.
Learning Path Logistics: Direct the logistics and operational framework for global learning paths, ensuring seamless delivery across different time zones, languages, and regional requirements.
Strategic Collaboration: Act as a core thought partner to the VP of Global GTM Enablement, Global Programs, and enablement Business Partners to translate business needs into scalable learning solutions.
Measurement & Optimization: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for learning programs. Use data to track certification completion, content utilization, and the correlation between training and field performance.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 10+ years in L&D, Instructional Design, or Sales Enablement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing a team of professionals in a high-growth SaaS environment.
Platform Mastery: Deep expertise in managing LMS/LXP (e.g. Mindtickle), CMS (e.g., Highspot, Seismic) platforms. You know how to make technology work for the learner, not the other way around.
Certification Design Experience: Demonstrated success building credentialing programs from scratch, including assessment design, badging/credentialing, and managing certification maintenance and governance.
Instructional Excellence: A strong foundation in adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) applied to a fast-paced corporate environment.
GTM Fluency: You speak the language of Sales and Customer Success. You understand sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Force Management, etc.) and can translate them into effective training curricula.
Strategic Execution: Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects from concept to global rollout. You are as comfortable with "big picture" strategy as you are with the "logistics" of execution.
Analytical Mindset: You don't just "do training"; you measure impact. You have experience using data to iterate on programs and prove ROI to executive leadership.
Influential Leadership: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build consensus across global, cross-functional teams.
