We’re looking for an Access Control Specialist / Physical Security to join Procore’s Global Safety & Security team based in Cairo. In this role, you will support and administer Procore’s global physical security systems, helping ensure our offices remain safe, secure, and compliant with company policies and global standards. You’ll play a key role in monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, managing access control programs, and supporting global security initiatives. This position reports to the Global Director of Security and will be based in our new Cairo office location (district 5). We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
What You’ll Do
Administer and maintain physical security systems, including access control and video management platforms (Avigilon).
Program and maintain door alarms and ensure video systems are functioning and properly integrated with alarm systems.
Conduct daily alarm reviews to verify appropriate responses and identify potential security risks.
Monitor global Procore offices during U.S. non-business hours, responding to security alerts and incidents.
Monitor and respond to events escalated through AlertMedia, conduct impact assessments, and communicate response plans to stakeholders.
Perform routine audits of CCTV systems to ensure full operational functionality.
Manage badge and access programs for Procore’s non-U.S. offices.
Conduct regular user access reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and security standards.
Serve as the primary security and safety point of contact for the Procore Cairo office.
Support Office operations when required.
Provide security support for company events, meetings, and off-site functions as needed.
Support new security system implementations and office build-outs globally.
Travel occasionally to other Procore locations when required
What We’re Looking For
2+ experience administering access control and video management systems (Avigilon experience is a strong plus).
Strong understanding of physical security operations and compliance best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and integrity.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a global team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
Customer-service mindset with a professional and approachable attitude.
