We’re looking for a Manager, Sales, Public Sector to manage, grow, and further develop our Public Sector sales team. Leverage your outstanding communication, negotiation, leadership, and influencing skills to build a strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders. As the Manager of the Public Sector Sales team, you have prior enterprise SaaS sales experience, Public Sector and SLED Sales experience, the ability to maintain C-level relationships, work with a large extended team, and seven-figure deal experience.

This position will report to the Regional Sales Director, Public Sector, Owners and has the opportunity to be located in any of our US offices or be primarily remote. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead a Western Public Sector North American Sales teams of 8 to drive sales and achieve strategic objectives and quotas while fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Support the development of Sales teams through internal training and learning and development opportunities.
  • Manage your territory, including strategic planning, rigorous forecasting cadence, and execution for results.
  • Contribute to GTM strategy across the segment and vertical.
  • Work closely with enablement to continually develop tools to aid the team to goal.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key accounts to generate new business and expand revenue with current customers; structure and negotiate business terms and contracts with line-of-business, procurement, senior management, and C-level executives.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to enable deals and evolve internal processes to better support Public Sector growth.
  • Sell to C-suite, solution sales, ability to sell to multiple stakeholders, selling against P/L, negotiating, presenting, closing.
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on customer needs, industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Travel (25% - 50%) to our Procore offices, clients, and more!

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of Public Sector/SLED software sales experience; proven experience identifying and closing six-figure to seven-figure contracts
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership role (Manager or Director level), directly supervising Account Executives with the ability to increase sales through the development of high-performance teams and effective sales processes
  • Front-line Enterprise level seller experience, preferably in Public Sector/SLED Sales, selling a SaaS platform or multi-solution product
  • Demonstrated experience executing sales leadership methodologies and ownership of all aspects of territory management
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise Public Sector/SLED SaaS models, SaaS metrics, and online sales models. Experience in the built environment a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience selling licenses or subscriptions to large, complex Public Sector/SLED organizations; experience selling into the construction industry is preferred
  • A perfect mix of curiosity, ambition, proactiveness, resilience, and optimism with a competitive and value-added mindset

 

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $120,800 - $166,100 plus commission for an estimated on-target earnings of $241,600 - $332,200. This role is also eligible for Equity Compensation.
