Stepping into our Dublin office is like joining a chapter in a very successful story. It’s hard to believe that it was just back in 2022 that we built this team from scratch. I was the 22nd hire and the vibe was electric in our first office at South Point. We were a small but strong team, and we all held firm on our conviction that we really could make an impact on the construction industry. We outgrew our first location and moved to Grand Canal Square in 2023.
A typical day in the office is part of what keeps me moving forward. I could show you pictures of the office, people having fun, drinking their morning tea together and having a laugh. Instead, I’m going to tell you what makes the Dublin office outstanding (hint, it’s the way that we work together).
Experts Sharing Knowledge
I’ve had people over the years ask me, “What can I do at Procore?” The answer is simple: a lot. Our Dublin team is mostly customer success and sales, with a sprinkle of marketing. What we’re really looking for here is people who can lean into our value of ownership–people who are ready to take initiative and move forward. Coming from the construction industry, I found customer-facing teams appealing as I get to work directly with our customers and use my industry expertise every day. Talking with customers in a relatable way by combining technical expertise with approachable communication, I’m able to educate customers effectively and build stronger, long-term relationships. My colleagues who come from other industries–whether it’s tech, banking, hospitality or something else–all bring that same sense of ownership with them and readily share their relevant expertise with our customers to help drive business. Seeing how we approach our customers with curiosity, integrity and positive intent shows that we understand our customers aren’t just buying software; they are buying a partnership with us.
Collaboration and Support
It’s not just our customers who benefit from the wide range of experiences our teammates have. We share that knowledge with each other. Those hallway conversations? They are more than just mates chatting. It’s us talking about customer challenges, providing insights to help each other, and offering advice on how to move conversations and projects forward. I get to tell an SDR about the nuances of being on a job site, while my coworker Paola gets to share her insights on how tech stacks can integrate and how to coach a customer thanks to her past experiences in tech sales roles. When Paola first came to Procore, she wasn’t sure it would be easy to break into construction technology–but she was up to the challenge and helped drive the collaboration and support that is a big part of our culture. She took advantage of the expertise that people like me–who come from construction–have, while coaching others with her refined tech sales skills. Our greatest successes are a shared effort.
Building Community
We are more than just coworkers here. We’re a community of people with a shared sense of purpose. When I think back to when I was first hired and it was just 20 of us, I never imagined that a team this size could still have that same connection. It’s people like Ciara, who runs our workplace experience, that really drive connection. She goes above and beyond making sure that the office has everything we need to be successful in our role; she is always looking to create moments that matter for us. Whether she’s organizing team outings, putting together festive events to celebrate holidays, or even making sure that we’ve got suitable snacks for everyone–including those with allergies. It’s her creative energy and small, meaningful thoughts that really help to bring us together and feel like we’re all part of something together.
Our leaders are constantly leaning in as well. Whether it’s our quarterly Team Player recognition awards, our team huddles, or weekly forecasts, they always make sure we are seen and supported. Having leaders like Ciaran, our senior director of customer success, means having leaders who are there to coach us and steer us in the right direction. He’s the kind of leader who wins hearts and minds and reminds us that every voice makes us stronger.
That’s the essence of Procore’s Dublin office. We work in a hustling office in a stunning location, knowing that it’s how we work together that really matters. Want to be part of the Dublin team? Check out our current opportunities.
