The end of 2022 is finally here, and what a year it has been! As a team of more than 2,800 global Groundbreakers, we have accomplished so much together, and we’re just getting started.

Earlier this year, we created the Life at Procore blog to spotlight some of the wonderful employees who are living Procore’s values of openness, ownership and optimism as we work to improve the lives of everyone in construction. Over the last twelve months, we’ve had the pleasure of interviewing Cynthia, Kristen, Nolan, Caitlin, George, Grace, Jay, Sara, Ashley and Scott to learn about their work at Procore, out in their communities and within the construction industry.

Like our customers, Procorians, too, are Groundbreakers. What is a Groundbreaker? It’s a relentless professional who always goes above and beyond. A mission-focused team player who brings passion and curiosity to work every day. Someone who lives Procore’s values to help create a shared sense of belonging and connection. They are the people who make Procore feel like Procore, no matter where they are in the world.

Curious to see how Cynthia, Kristen, Nolan, Caitlin, George, Grace, Jay, Sara, Ashley and Scott are breaking ground? Check out their blogs:

  • Cynthia collaborates with recruiters to help drive a more inclusive candidate experience.

  • Kristen takes on additional roles as a Procore’s Employee Resource Groups member for PRISM and Unidos and as the director of Women in Technology.

  • Nolan overcame a lifetime of racial bias to blaze his trail and moved to Toronto to help open Procore’s Canadian hubs.

  • Caitlin is passionate about lifelong learning and finds creative ways to help scale Procore’s brand in the Asia-Pacific region.

  • George leverages over 20 years of experience in business analysis and project management to build meaningful relationships and make a difference in the diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging space.

  • Grace is passionate about mentoring and upskilling Procorians for the next stage in their careers.

  • Jay has carved his career in the data and AI space and is passionate about mentoring junior engineers.

  • Sara invests a lot of time and energy to help her team and fellow Procorians realize their goals.

  • Ashley helps to bring Procore’s annual Groundbreak conference to life and collaborates cross-functionally to carry out Procore’s corporate needs.

  • Scott leverages his 29 years of experience in the construction industry and eight and a half years in the U.S. Army to help lighten others’ loads.

Shout out to our incredible employees for all you do to help improve lives within the construction industry and beyond. I’m looking forward to 2023 and all the groundbreaking work to come.
