We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer, iOS to join Procore's Mobile Project Management Quality and Safety engineering team. In this role, you'll serve as a technical leader driving the architecture, quality, and delivery of our iOS mobile application that help construction teams manage projects and jobsite safety. Your primary goal will be to raise the technical bar across the team while enabling faster, higher-quality delivery of complex mobile features.
As a Staff Software Engineer, iOS , you'll partner with Engineering, Product Management, Design, and QA to design, build, and scale mission-critical iOS features used by construction teams around the world. This position reports into an Engineering Manager on Mobile Project Management Quality and Safety and will be based in our Cairo, Egypt office. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you'll do:

Serve as the go-to technical expert for iOS architecture and best practices across the Mobile Project Management Quality and Safety team
Lead the design and implementation of complex, high-impact features across our iOS applications, driving improvements in performance, reliability, and maintainability across the codebase
Set technical and procedural standards for the team, guiding key architectural and design decisions
Identify large-scale technical issues and opportunities, and organize the team to address them
Mentor fellow engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and hands-on coaching
Partner with Product, Design, and QA to translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions
Support the full lifecycle of feature delivery, including production support and incident resolution
What we're looking for:

8+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years building native iOS applications with Swift and/or Objective-C
Serve as the go-to technical expert for iOS architecture and best practices across the Mobile Project Management Quality and Safety team
Candidate with product mindset and/or Mobile Automation background is a huge plus
Lead the design and implementation of complex, high-impact features across our iOS applications, driving improvements in performance, reliability, and maintainability across the codebase
Set technical and procedural standards for the team, guiding key architectural and design decisions
Identify large-scale technical issues and opportunities, and organize the team to address them
Mentor fellow engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and hands-on coaching
Support the full lifecycle of feature delivery, including production support and incident resolution
