Job Description
We’re looking for a Staff Salesforce Technical Architect to join Procore’s Go-To-Market (GTM) Product & Engineering team. In this role, you will accelerate the outcomes of the Go-To-Market Product & Engineering product teams by designing scalable solutions for Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services & Customer Support organizations. Our GTM Product & Engineering team builds highly scalable, reliable solutions on Salesforce & adjacent platforms with integrations to other Enterprise SaaS applications including Zuora, Gong, Xactly, Product Infrastructure, Data Lake and automates manual business processes.
This role is based out of our Austin, Texas office, reports into the Sr Director, GTM Enterprise Systems and offers flexibility to work remotely as schedule permits. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you'll be responsible for:
Solution Design: Architect and design scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions that align with business needs for all GTM Domains (Marketing, Sales, Quote & Contracting - CPQ, CLM, Customer Success, Professional Services / Financial Force & Customer Support)
Integration Architecture: Create integration solutions between Salesforce and external systems to ensure efficient data flow and consistency.
Technical Leadership: Act as a technical lead for the Go-To-Market team, mentoring developers, and guiding the technical implementation of projects.
Best Practices & Standards:Establish and maintain Salesforce development standards, reference architectures, code quality practices, and best practices for customization and configuration.
System Performance Optimization: Identify and address potential performance issues, scalability challenges, and security risks in the Salesforce platform.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Documentation: Produce and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution design documents
Tech Evaluations & Proof-of-Concepts: Lead technical evaluations (build vs buy), proof-of-concepts for new technical solutions and provide recommendations.
What we're seeking in you:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with a minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in Salesforce Platform, business analysis, and technology implementation in full life-cycle enterprise CRM
Salesforce Expertise: Hands-on experience with Salesforce development and architecture design, including integration, authentication, and security.
Design Patterns & Data Management: Solid understanding of key design patterns, data management, and environment management best practices.
Salesforce Certifications: Relevant certifications in Salesforce Marketing, Sales, Service cloud and technical certifications like Application Architect, System Architect or Technical Architect
Business Acumen: Ability to engage with senior executives in business-focused, outcome-oriented discussions.
Salesforce Product Knowledge: Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and other Salesforce products. Knowledge of Salesforce APIs including Web Services, Platform Events.
Business Analysis & Data Modeling: Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques, and a solid understanding of data modeling, security, and performance optimization in Salesforce.
Additional Information
Base Pay Range $163,040 - $224,180. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
