We are looking for a Senior Legal Operations Specialist, Business Intelligence who is a master in business intelligence with hands-on experience within the Legal domain. This is a high-impact role for an expert practitioner who thrives in the technical details but acts as a trusted advisor to provide direction on what and how we should be measuring. You will spend the majority of your time architecting the data flow between our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system (Ironclad) and Salesforce, but your ultimate mission is broader: unlocking data insights and creating dashboards facilitating data-driven decision making for the leaders across Legal, Regulatory & Compliance (LRC) by weaving together Legal, Finance, Sales, and HR data. This position will report to our Director, Legal Operations & Systems, and can be based in Procore’s Pune or Bangalore office location.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Act as the technical owner for LRC data, deeply integrating Ironclad and Salesforce data to provide real-time insights into commercial contracting health, bottlenecks, and revenue impact
Build holistic executive dashboards by connecting data points across SimpleLegal, Pigment, and Workday to provide a 360-degree view of the LRC organization’s spend, headcount, and performance
Serve as the source of truth for the deployment of LRC-specific AI tools (e.g., Harvey, Luminance) and corporate agents (Rovo, Gemini), building the benchmarks required to validate that AI-generated insights are accurate and aligned with business logic
Own the technical execution of the LRC data strategy, from writing complex SQL queries in Snowflake and data modeling in Databricks to designing high-fidelity dashboards in Tableau
Proactively interview stakeholders to understand underlying business goals, often proposing more effective data narratives than originally requested rather than simply building what is asked
Leverage tools like NotebookLM and Gemini to bridge the gap between structured data and unstructured context (e.g., redlines or meeting transcripts), turning disparate threads into a cohesive narrative for LRC leadership
Act as the technical bridge between Legal Ops and global IT teams, ensuring LRC’s data architecture scales with the rest of the company
Empower the global LRC team by creating the documentation, training, and prompt libraries needed to drive AI literacy and self-service business intelligence (BI)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
8+ years of experience in Data, BI, or Analytics roles, including 3+ years supporting in-house legal departments, with a proven track record of taking messy datasets and turning them into executive-level insights
Deep understanding of the Salesforce data schema and experience with CLM platforms, with a strong grasp of the logic of how a deal moves from lead to signed contract
High proficiency in the modern data stack: Snowflake, Databricks, and Tableau; expert-level SQL is mandatory
Curious and technically adept at leveraging AI tools (Gemini, Rovo, etc.) to accelerate personal productivity and automate the discovery of data anomalies
Independent doer who isn't afraid of data cleanup, refining data dictionaries, or chasing down data integrity issues at the source
Comfortable explaining complex technical data-related topics to attorneys and non-technical business leaders in a way that is clear, concise, and actionable
Detail-oriented, organized, efficient, and resourceful with exceptional follow-through skills
Highly agile, results-oriented, solution-minded, tenacious, resilient self-starter and creative problem-solver with ability to manage shifting client demands and priorities in a fast-paced, global, high-growth environment
Exceptional business acumen, judgment, and discretion in dealing with highly sensitive information
Outstanding interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to navigate a dynamic workplace to identify and collaborate with key stakeholders, influence without direct authority, and interface effectively with all business functions and levels to drive business initiatives
