Job Description

We’re looking for a strategic and insight-driven Customer Marketing Manager to lead and scale our customer lifecycle and retention marketing efforts across the APAC region. This foundational role will be instrumental in turning customer and product insights into targeted programs that drive meaningful business impact—across adoption, usage, engagement, retention, cross-sell, and upsell.

You’ll act as the connective tissue between data, customer needs, and business growth—partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to understand customer challenges, identify value moments, and deploy campaigns that directly contribute to revenue and retention goals.

This role is based in Sydney, Australia, and reports to the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing.

What You Will Do:

  • Build and own the customer lifecycle marketing function across the APAC region—from onboarding to advocacy.
  • Translate customer behavior, health metrics, and product usage data into segmentation strategies and lifecycle campaigns that improve retention and accelerate account expansion.
  • Design and implement always-on and point-in-time programs focused on key business outcomes: increasing product adoption, reducing churn, and driving cross-sell and upsell within the customer base.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to understand common customer pain points, map them to business objectives, and develop marketing solutions that solve these challenges.
  • Drive targeted engagement strategies across key customer cohorts—aligned to product maturity, segment needs, and commercial opportunity.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Enablement to amplify feature adoption and deliver high-value education and enablement content.
  • Build and scale customer advocacy and referral programs to strengthen brand affinity and generate influence-driven pipeline.
  • Develop and refine customer journey mapping, scoring models, and data triggers to power smarter and more personalized campaigns.
  • Define, measure, and optimize performance across campaigns using customer and business KPIs.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in customer lifecycle, retention, or customer marketing in a B2B SaaS or tech environment
  • Proven success in designing data-informed programs that align with business challenges and accelerate growth across the customer lifecycle
  • Strong analytical mindset—you can interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into high-impact marketing strategies
  • Skilled in using lifecycle marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Braze) to build automated journeys and personalized campaigns
  • Collaborative and commercially minded—you partner confidently with Sales, Success, and Product teams to align efforts and drive joint outcomes
  • A strategic thinker with executional excellence—equally comfortable building the plan and running the play
  • Exceptional communicator and storyteller, with the ability to bring insight to life and align teams around the customer
