Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Sr Manager to oversee our remote workforce in India, supporting multiple teams including ITOps, DevOps, and Digital Experience.

This role is pivotal in managing the day-to-day operations of our remote employees, ensuring they are aligned with our strategic goals and deliverables as outlined by the Senior Director.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a productive, collaborative environment for our remote teams, facilitating communication and ensuring the successful execution of our IT roadmap.

This position reports to the Sr. Director IT Engineering & Operations and will be based in our Pune Office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • People Management: Lead and manage a remote team of IT professionals in India, ensuring high levels of team engagement, performance, and professional development.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with the Senior Director to understand the quarterly roadmap and planned work, translating strategic goals into actionable plans for the remote teams.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve processes for managing remote work, leveraging best practices in remote team management to enhance productivity and collaboration.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on team performance against key objectives and project milestones, identifying and addressing any issues that may impact delivery.
  • Communication Facilitator: Act as the primary point of contact between remote workers in India and various stakeholders, ensuring clear, timely, and effective communication across all levels.
  • Collaboration and Support: Foster a culture of collaboration and support among the remote teams, facilitating knowledge sharing and cross-team initiatives to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on technical challenges, encouraging the adoption of best practices in ITOps, DevOps, and Digital Experience workflows.
  • Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation and workload distribution, ensuring that projects are adequately staffed and team members are not overburdened.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in managing remote IT teams, particularly in an international context.
  • Strong understanding of ITOps, DevOps, and Digital Experience domains.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide remote teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with team members and stakeholders across different cultures and time zones.
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, with a knack for coordinating complex projects and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English, with any additional languages being a plus.
