As the Vice President of Product, Construction Platform, you will oversee contextual construction assets such as Documents, BIM, Maps, Specifications and other platform components that support the construction lifecycle. You are a product leader with extensive enterprise and international experience, adept at working with scaled technology organizations. We’re looking for an innovative leader well-versed in leveraging the latest breakthroughs in AI to help empower one of the world’s largest industries to work smarter and safer.

In this critical leadership role, you’ll facilitate storytelling by connecting technology and innovation to the industry and illustrating impacts to the bottom line for owners, general contractors, and subcontractors. You’ll craft a product & technical vision and roadmap for critical technology initiatives such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), our Common Data Environment (CDE), Maps and Documents.

This position will report to the Chief Product Officer, and will be located in our Austin, TX office. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Partner with stakeholders across product and technology as well as business owners to define, refine, evangelize and execute a compelling platform vision & strategy for Procore customers.

• Own the vision, roadmap and results for BIM, CDE, Documents, Maps and other platform components. 

• Drive international product-market fit for our industry leading Documents and BIM products. 

• Lead a team of experienced and highly engaged product leaders; hire and retain world-class, high-performing product management who can take Procore to the next level. 

• Define, and then goal against agreed Golden KPIs & outcomes. 

• Partner to build scalable processes and systems across the product and technology organization. 

• Collaborate with product leadership to make pragmatic trade-offs on staffing and prioritizing initiatives.

• Act as a core member of our product leadership organization that helps clarify, prioritize, and evangelize all technology initiatives at Procore.

• Design, envision and build a platform to empower our product and business strategy.

• Proactively explore platform components to stay one step ahead of product teams.

What we're looking for: 

• Executive-level experience leading internal platform technology teams.

• Expert level communication skills, written and verbal. 

• Ability to work with C-levels clients as well as stakeholder management of internal executives.

• Stakeholder collaboration - Ability to work horizontally across the company from Marketing to Engineering, Sales to CS and the leadership team

• Mastery of product development techniques from SMB to Enterprise. Discovery methods from Hypothesis driven product development to contextual inquiry. 

• Mastery in the ability to make clear, concise business cases for long term technology investments accompanied by a plan with short and long term milestones. 

• 15+ years of experience building and delivering successful products in a SaaS environment

• Strong coaching prowess including ability to hire and retain world class technical product managers. 

• Experience working with engineering and design to deliver both platform services and end-user experiences

• Passion for customers and seeking a deep understanding of end-user problems as well as competitive and market trends 

• Strong product management skills, including analytics, structured requirements and specifications, and able to think in platform architecture terms

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $282,245 - $344,966. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
