Job Description

We're looking for an Employee Listening Program & Analytics Lead to build, lead, and scale a world-class listening strategy that uncovers deep insights into our employee experience. In this role, you’ll be the strategic engine behind understanding our people, using your expertise in research methods, behavioral science, and advanced analytics to translate data into actionable strategies. You'll work closely with Procore's most senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and the Culture team, from with People Analytics, to tackle complex organizational challenges and directly shape a culture where every one of Procore’s more than 4,000 employees can thrive.

As the Employee Listening Lead, you'll be instrumental in creating an industry-leading listening strategy and implementing a holistic listening ecosystem that provides a comprehensive view of our organization's health and culture. You'll combine your passion for data with a deep sense of empathy to ensure our people's voices are not just heard, but acted upon, all while embodying Procore's values of Openness, Optimism, and Ownership.

This position is an individual contributor role and will report to the Director, People Analytics. This role can be based in any of our US offices or be remote. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What you'll do:

  • Architect and execute our global employee listening strategy, including census, pulse, lifecycle, and topical surveys, to provide critical insights into the employee experience.

  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior business leaders and HR partners, using data to diagnose complex organizational challenges and influence decision-making at the highest levels.

  • Apply your expertise in research methodologies and behavioral science to design and implement a holistic listening program, incorporating both active (surveys) and passive (ambient) data sources.

  • Transform complex quantitative and qualitative data, including open-ended feedback, focus groups, and text analytics, into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations for a senior executive audience.

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of listening initiatives, from survey design and administration to platform management and vendor partnerships, ensuring a seamless experience for our employees.

  • Collaborate closely with the broader People Analytics team to integrate listening data with other HR and business data, uncovering deeper, more predictive insights into engagement, retention, and performance.

  • Drive accountability and action across the organization by developing and delivering insightful dashboards and reports that empower leaders to make meaningful improvements based on employee feedback.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in employee listening, people analytics, survey research, or a related field, with a strong foundation in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or behavioral science.

  • Deep expertise in modern employee listening strategies and methodologies, including advanced survey design, benchmarking, statistical analysis, and natural language processing (NLP).

  • Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor, engaging and influencing senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders with data-driven insights.

  • Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills, with the ability to translate sophisticated analytical findings into clear, compelling, and actionable narratives that resonate with large audiences.

  • A consultative mindset with the ability to absorb complex business problems and effectively diagnose the root cause to recommend impactful solutions.

  • Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs and driving organizational change based on employee feedback.

  • Proficiency with major employee listening platforms (e.g., CultureAmp, Glint, Qualtrics), HRIS platforms (Workday) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $129,600 - $178,200. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
