Job Description

Are you a dynamic, inspiring, innovative IT leader with a proven ability to deliver exceptional experiences to end users? Then come join Procore's Business Technology team!  We are looking for a Sr. Director, Digital Employee Experience, IT Infrastructure and Operations who will be accountable for all of our  IT Infrastructure, Network, Collaboration & Productivity tools along with Operations and End User Services supporting over 4,000 employees. The key focus will be to continuously strengthen and improve our Digital Employee Experience to deliver friction-free experiences whether in the office or at home - across the globe. 

Overseeing the optimization of Procore’s technology infrastructure to ensure a positive and productive digital experience for employees, focusing on user-friendly interfaces, seamless access to tools, and proactive issue resolution across core experiences, while also managing the underlying IT infrastructure that supports these experiences

This position will report to our SVP Business Technology and be based in Austin, TX. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.
 

What you’ll do:

  • Demonstrate executive-level thought leadership, strategic business development, technical innovation, through the development and implementation of a comprehensive Digital Employee Experience (DEX) strategy, including identifying pain points, gathering employee feedback, and prioritizing technology improvements to enhance user satisfaction

  • Manage direct reports (Directors, Managers) to ensure the efficient and secure global operation of the Corporate Network, Firewalls, Identity and Access Management, End User Support (Helpdesk, Laptops), Collaboration and Productivity tools, Work Management (Atlassian suite, Github), Conference rooms and all IT equipment and infrastructure.

  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and software solutions that directly impact the employee experience, including collaboration tools, communication platforms, and self-service portals.  Bring your innovative presence to continuously find ways to uplift user experiences through the use of AI, automation, tools and applications

  • Oversee the health and performance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, network, storage, and security systems, to ensure optimal employee access and productivity

  • Track key metrics related to employee technology usage, system uptime, and user satisfaction to identify trends and proactively address potential issues

  • Be part of the Business Technology leadership team to drive overall strategy and operations for the organization

What we're looking for:

  • 15+ years as IT leader preferably in a SaaS environment across Digital Employee Experience tools, Infrastructure, Operations and End User Services functions

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networking, cloud computing, server management, and security protocols

  • Expertise in various digital workplace technologies (e.g., collaboration and AI tools, cloud platforms, mobile applications)

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Knowledge of user interface design principles and the ability to identify and address user pain points within technology platforms

  • Strong ability to develop strategy for organization, execute, lead transformation and drive implementation while engaging with C-level executives and individual contributors

  • Experience managing large IT budgets, financials, vendors, contracts and relationships with Hardware, Software and  Managed Services Providers(MSPs)

  • Strong knowledge of G-Suite, Windows 365, Slack, Zoom, OKTA, AI Agents, Azure and AWS platforms is essential

  • Strong knowledge and experience with ITIL and ITSM principles

  • Experience in technical risk concepts similar to cloud computing environments: logical access control, agile development process, secure coding principles, security architecture, information security, network security, and privacy

  • Highly self-motivated and directed with a high sense of urgency; proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

  • Proven ability to lead, grow, and motivate a global team, prioritize projects, and drive results in a complex technology environment 

  • Ability to work flexible hours, managing and supporting remote and global staff, environments, and business areas

  • BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $206,800 - $284,350. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
