That's why we're looking for a talented, passionate, curious, and resourceful Software Engineer Intern to jumpstart a career in tech and join Procore's journey to revolutionize a historically underserved industry.
As a Software Engineer Intern on one of the P&T(Product & Technology) teams , you will be a core member focused on delivering new features, fixing defects and contributing in planning upcoming work. In this role, you'll join our highly collaborative Product and Engineering organization to drive the technical direction of our projects.
This position will report to the Engineering Manager on one of our P&T teams and will be based in the Cairo, Egypt office.
What you'll do:
Implement new product features based on the product roadmap
Fixing existing and newly reported defects
Collaborate with the team to get the work done
Follow the team processes, attend team meetings and meet delivery expectations
Participate in designing and brainstorming solutions for the upcoming work
Learn from other engineers and gain hands-on experience
What we're looking for:
Currently attending Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related college major
Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies in very short time
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with modern web development, including development, testing, staging, deploying, and monitoring
A curious mind that is driven to innovate and solve customer problems
Empathy for users and the ability to understand user pain points
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Ability to evaluate complex problems and arrive at a resolution
