As a Staff Salesforce PRM Developer Engineer at Procore, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust solutions within the Salesforce.com ecosystem, specifically focusing on Salesforce Partner Relationship Management (PRM) solutions built on Experience Cloud.
The Staff Salesforce PRM Developer Engineer is primarily responsible for translating complex business requirements from various stakeholders into robust technical architectures. Success requires a strong business processes, which involves developing functionality for Partner Onboarding and Enablement, Deal Registration Management (including territory and conflict checks), Lead Distribution, Partner Collaboration, and Incentive and Commission Management.
The position serves as the technical engine driving Procore's channel strategy, enhancing operational efficiency and deepening partner engagement.
This position will report to the Senior Manager GTM Systems and will be based in our Pune, India, Procore office. We’re looking for candidates to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce PRM solutions using Experience Cloud (Partner Community).
Experience implementing partner lifecycle processes:
Partner recruitment and onboarding
Deal registration and approval workflows
Partner lead and opportunity management
Partner performance tracking
Understanding of channel sales models and partner ecosystems.
Customize partner portals using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and standard Salesforce features and Salesforce automation using Flows and Validation Rules.
Partner Portal Development (Experience Cloud & UI Development) involves architecting and customizing partner portals using Experience Cloud templates, developing a responsive UI/UX, implementing branding/layouts, and optimizing performance and accessibility.
Security and Data Governance require applying strict Salesforce security protocols for external users, configuring access controls (sharing sets, partner user access, OWDs, etc.), ensuring regulatory compliance, and proactively monitoring/resolving security vulnerabilities.
Integration and Data Management includes integrating the PRM solution with internal Salesforce orgs and external enterprise systems (ERP, marketing automation), managing data migration and synchronization, and maintaining high data quality across all integrated platforms. Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs for system integrations. Build and optimize SOQL/SOSL queries and handle large data volumes.
What we’re looking for:
9+ years of experience architecting and designing full-stack Force.com solutions, including Flow, Apex, Lightning (Aura/LWC), bulk data patterns, governor limits, metadata APIs, SOQL, batch/future patterns, outbound messaging, and web services.
7+ years of strong experience with full life cycle implementation of Salesforce PRM and Experience Cloud (Partner Community), including configuration, customization, and implementation.
Solid understanding of Salesforce data model and security architecture.
Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and API security.
Hands-on experiences and understanding of DevOps tools and technologies, such as Copado, Git, and CI/CD pipelines, and expertise with Salesforce release, pipeline management, and CI/CD processes is a plus
Salesforce Experience Cloud or Community Cloud certification.
Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
Experience with multi-org or partner data models.
Exposure to performance optimization and security reviews.
