Job Description
Procore is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Financial Systems team.
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will leverage your experience to analyze, design, and implement financial systems solutions. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their requirements, evaluate system performance, and ensure that our financial systems meet the highest standards of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Your role will involve being a technical and functional subject matter expert on projects, providing strategic insights, and ensuring seamless integration between financial systems and other business processes.
This role will report directly to the Director, Financial Business Systems and is located in Pune, India.
What you'll do:
System Analysis and Design:
Partner with the Product Manager for analysis, design, and implementation of financial systems and processes to support company initiatives.
Conduct thorough assessments of current systems and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with finance, accounting, and IT teams to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Translate business needs into technical specifications and work with engineering teams to implement solutions.
Planning and Prioritization:
Be an active leader in end-to-end project lifecycles for financial systems enhancements, including planning, execution, QA testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with the Product Manager on project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
System Integration:
Oversee the integration of financial systems with other business applications, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, coordinating with technical teams as needed.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure that financial systems adhere to regulatory requirements and internal SOX controls.
Implement and monitor risk management practices to safeguard financial data and system integrity.
User Training and Support:
Develop and deliver documentation for end-users to ensure effective use of financial systems.
Provide ongoing service desk support and guidance to users, addressing any issues or concerns.
Reporting and Documentation:
Create detailed documentation of system processes, configurations, and modifications.
Prepare and present reports on system performance, project status, and business impact to senior management.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CSM, CPO) preferred.
10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on financial systems.
In-depth knowledge of financial systems and processes, including ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools.
Proven track record of managing complex projects and driving system enhancements at a public company.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with system integration and data migration processes.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices related to financial systems, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
