We are seeking a proactive and technically proficient Salesforce Application Developer to join Procore’s GTM Team with a strong focus on Sales Cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of features that drive our sales productivity. You will leverage your expertise in Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC), executing complex system integrations and optimizing the critical Lead-to-Cash process. The primary objective is to maintain a streamlined, high-performing Salesforce instance that significantly enhances organizational business efficiency.
As a Sales Cloud Developer, you’ll partner with Multiple Functional teams of Salesforce developers/Administrator/business analysts, and GTM teams to develop high-performance, scalable solutions.
We work with strict deadlines, so strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional time management and task execution skills are key.
This position will report to the Senior Manager GTM Systems and will be based in our Pune, India, Procore office. We’re looking for candidates to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
Design and develop Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions using Apex classes, triggers, and asynchronous processes (Batch, Queueable, Future). Build highly interactive, responsive UIs using Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Customize and configure Sales Cloud features, including Leads, Accounts, Opportunity Management, Contacts, Quotes, Territory Management, and Forecasting
Translate business requirements into technical designs and functional solutions
Design and implement robust REST/SOAP API integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems (e.g., Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Marketo, or ERP systems)
Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, security standards, and governor limits. Write comprehensive Apex Unit Tests (maintaining >85% coverage).
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in development and production environments
Collaborate with all levels of the technical team and partners to evaluate technical solutions and design trade-offs.
Support deployments, release management, and post-production support.

What we’re looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field. Advanced Salesforce certifications are a plus.
5+ years of experience and deep expertise in software engineering, object-oriented languages and design principles, Salesforce administration and configuration, and Force.com technologies -- Flow, Apex triggers and controllers, Lightning (Aura/LWC), bulk data patterns, governor limits, metadata APIs, SOQL, batch and future patterns, outbound messaging, and web services.
4+ years of Sales Cloud development experience with full-cycle Salesforce Sales life cycle project implementations that include configuration, customization, implementation, and data migration.
Strong technical aptitude and deep development expertise with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Development experience with any of the following is a strong plus: Salesforce CPQ, Advanced Approvals, Advanced Currency, Ironclad, DocuSign, Einstein, Experience Cloud, LeanData, Certinia, Salesforce Voice, Salesforce Shield, Impartner PRM, SFDC SOQL, Marketo
Innovative and motivated problem solver with top-notch software design and implementation skills.
Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and API security.
Hands-on experiences and understanding of DevOps tools and technologies, such as Copado, Git, and CI/CD pipelines, and expertise with Salesforce release, pipeline management, and CI/CD processes is must.

Required: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PDI).
Required: Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
Preferred: Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.
