Job Description
Procore is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Business Systems Analyst to join our team.
As a Financial Business Systems Analyst, you will involve diagnosing and resolving technical problems, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
This role reports to Director, Financial Business Systems and is located in Pune, India.
What you’ll do:
Incident Management: Receive, log, and prioritize requests and incidents reported via the service desk. Provide initial support and troubleshooting.
Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve issues related to systems, applications, and user access. Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams as needed.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with users, understanding their concerns, and offering clear and concise solutions or guidance.
Documentation: Accurately document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the ticketing system. Maintain up-to-date knowledge base articles and user guides. Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of system processes, workflows, and user guides.
System Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor system alerts and notifications to proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact users. Analyze current financial systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Training and Support: Assist users with onboarding, including setting up accounts, and providing training on standard applications and procedures.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and external vendors, to ensure seamless system integration and functionality.
Reporting: Generate and review reports on performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Support data analysis and reporting efforts, ensuring data integrity and accuracy within financial systems.
What we’re looking for:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of financial systems, databases, and software applications. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Preferred:
Experience: Internships or relevant coursework in business analysis, financial systems, or service desk support. Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance.
Certifications: Any relevant certifications are a plus but not required.
