Job Description

We’re looking for a User Research Recruiter to join Procore’s Product & Technology Team. Procore software solutions aim to improve the lives of everyone in construction, and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform. In this User Research Recruiter role, you’ll be the key to connecting our teams with the insights needed to build world-class products. You’ll partner with Researchers, Designers, Product Managers, and other functions to play a vital role in shaping the user experience of our products by identifying, recruiting, and scheduling participants for our research initiatives. Use your expertise in recruitment strategy, participant screening, and logistics coordination to ensure our research runs efficiently and is backed by a diverse and representative participant pool.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end user research recruitment process and programs for Design, Product, and Engineering teams, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both stakeholders and participants.
  • Collaborate with researchers, designers, and product team members to deeply understand study objectives and participant criteria, developing tailored recruitment strategies for various research methodologies.
  • Utilize and expand on various channels to source participants, including our internal customer database, research panels (Rally, UserTesting, Qualtrics), social media, and professional networks.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and methodologies to scale recruitment efforts, enhance participant targeting, increase the operational efficiency of the research team and improve recruitment best practices in the product organization.
  • Develop and maintain internal research participant pool and panels, ensuring panel health, data privacy compliance, and clear communication regarding incentives and participation value.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for research participants, managing all communications, answering questions, and building positive, long-term relationships.
  • Coordinate all logistics for research sessions, including scheduling participants and researchers, managing calendars, and sending confirmations and reminders.
  • Define, track, and report on key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, show rates, demographic distribution, budget management) to measure success, identify trends, and inform strategy.
  • Continuously evaluate and proactively improve the participant recruitment process, identifying and implementing opportunities for efficiency, quality enhancement, and automation.
  • Provide broader support to the Research Operations function as needed to enhance the impact and efficiency of the entire research team.
     

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in participant recruitment, research operations, or a similar coordination role, preferably within a user research, design, or B2B SaaS technology environment.
  • A background in or strong familiarity with user research methodologies and the importance of participant criteria in qualitative and quantitative studies.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport and fostering positive relationships with diverse groups of people.
  • Proven experience or strong interest in exploring AI tools and technologies to creatively enhance recruitment strategy, data analysis, and efficiency
  • A team player with a proactive, process-improvement mindset who actively looks for ways to support others and improve team workflows.
  • Proficiency with modern productivity and recruitment tools, such as scheduling software (e.g., Calendly), project management systems, and participant recruitment platforms (e.g., Rally, UserTesting).
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Sociology, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Desired: Experience with project management tools like Rally, general understanding of Quantitative and Qualitative research methodologies, understanding of GDPR & PII rules and regulations.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $71,552 - $98,384. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
