We’re looking for a Staff Data Analyst to join Procore’s Enterprise Data team. In this role, you’ll serve as a senior individual contributor, transforming complex datasets into a cohesive narrative for Procore’s leadership. Your primary goal is to drive organizational clarity by synthesizing product, customer, and business data into strategic insights that influence company-wide decision-making.

As a Staff Data Analyst, you’ll partner with Product and Engineering teams to understand the efficacy of Procore products. Use your advanced data storytelling, executive-level dashboard design, and cross-functional leadership to convert raw product telemetry into a clear picture of business health. You will be the go-to expert for translating "what is happening" into "why it matters"—join us to help lead Procore’s data evolution.

This position reports to the Senior Director of Analytics and will be based in our Austin office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and maintain high-impact executive dashboards that track Procore’s "North Star" metrics and global business performance.

  • Conduct strategic deep-dive analyses to identify long-term trends in user behavior, product adoption, and market expansion.

  • Synthesize disparate data sources inclusive of product usage, financial health, and customer feedback to provide a holistic view of the business.

  • Standardize analytical frameworks and reporting structures across the Enterprise Data team to ensure a single source of truth for leadership.

  • Advise product and executive leadership on strategic trade-offs using predictive modeling and historical performance data.

  • Identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for new product initiatives, ensuring they are measurable and aligned with corporate goals.

  • Audit product data quality and instrumentation to ensure the integrity of the data powering executive-level reports.

  • Translate complex technical findings into concise, non-technical executive summaries and presentations for the C suite.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Business, or a related quantitative field.

  • Minimum of 8+ years in data analytics or business intelligence, with significant experience supporting executive-level stakeholders.

  • Expert-level SQL and experience with BI visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI at an enterprise scale.

  • Experience with Databricks or Snowflake is required

  • Deep understanding of product analytics, including retention curves, cohort analysis, and funnel optimization.

  • Ability to see the big picture and connect granular product data to broad business outcomes and financial performance.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the confidence to present to and challenge senior leadership based on data-driven findings.

  • A proven track record of driving organizational change and data-informed shifts in strategy through persuasive storytelling.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range:

137,040.00 - 188,430.00 USD Annual
