We’re looking for a Product Manager to join Procore’s Product & Technology Team within our Document Management Division. Procore software solutions aim to improve the lives of everyone in construction and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform. We’re a customer-centric group that encompasses engineering, product, product design and data, security and business systems.
In this role, you will partner closely with the Director of Product who provides the deep industry domain expertise. This allows you to focus your energy on what you do best: technical execution, systems thinking, and product excellence. You are a "quick study" who can enter a complex, highly regulated domain and master its structural nuances in short order. You will help define what "enterprise-grade" information management means, making deliberate trade-offs between rigorous governance and the flexibility required for fast-paced project delivery. If you have a passion for solving complex problems unique to running large, highly scalable, resilient systems, we would love for you to join us!
This position reports into our Director of Product Management in India and will be based in our Bangalore, India office. You will work with development and design teams in multiple regions globally and will occasionally need to accommodate different time zones or work outside the standard 9 to 5 workday. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
Execute the technical product strategy for an advanced information management system that serves as the foundation for a True CDE.
Translate intricate governance standards and data requirements into high-performance, scalable product features that ensure long-term data integrity.
Lead the definition of MVP solutions and technical requirements by collaborating deeply with design, engineering and architecture leads (API, webhooks, security, performance, integrations, etc)
Own the product lifecycle and operational rigor, establishing clear governance guidelines and maintaining a high bar for the "definition of done."
Bridge the gap between complex structural needs and user-centric design, ensuring that solutions remain intuitive for a global enterprise audience.
Identify and navigate technical tradeoffs, documenting dependencies and constraints to build resilient systems capable of handling high transaction volumes.
Establish dashboarding and performance metrics, using data-driven insights to measure adoption and continuously optimize the platform's execution.
What we're looking for:
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or comparable work experience. Technical Certifications are a plus.
3+ years of product management experience, including significant experience in B2B or SaaS, particularly with enterprise-class software.
1+ years experience with application security & compliance.
Proven ability to enter a new technical, niche, or regulated environment and master its complexities in short order.
Exceptional skill in distilling multifaceted, abstract ideas into clear, actionable concepts that drive engineering consensus and influence outcomes.
Ability to think in platforms and ecosystems. You understand how data moves through a complex environment and can design future-proof solutions for scalability.
A passion for "getting into the weeds" of technical architecture and design concepts while maintaining a vision for long-term maintainability.
A disciplined approach to managing competing needs, using a clear rationale and qualitative/quantitative insights to articulate trade-offs.
Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills.
Interest in AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operation) workflows is a plus, but not required.
