Job Description

We’re looking for a Principal Technical Marketing Manager to join Procore’s Technical Product Marketing team. In this role, you’ll help to develop and execute a strategy to ensure current, high quality technical product marketing content is consistently available to our prospects, customers, and Field Revenue colleagues.  

As a Principal Technical Marketing Manager, you’ll serve as the primary content creator of product visuals for strategic company materials. Working with your colleagues in Technical Marketing and in Product Marketing, this newly created role will help to plan, create, and deliver an inventory of product-led visual content to tell the story of the Procore Platform, such as video demos, screenshots, and webinar presentations. The right candidate will have prior experience in creating similar assets to promote technical content to a broad audience.

This position reports into the Director, Global Technical Marketing and is based in Austin, TX. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop company level content strategy and subsequently deliver and execute with exceptional Technical Marketing content. Consistently influences and guides cross-product visual assets such as high impact demos or executive presentations.
  • Partner with Product Management, Product Strategy, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to align strategic and tactical planning. Works collaboratively with leadership to uplevel demo content. Identifies innovative ways to enable the field to showcase product value.
  • Serve as project manager on key initiatives to promote Procore solutions, such as product launch materials, strategic demos and major events.
  • Recommends and develops visuals for key events, sales plays, and campaigns.
  • Oversee overall plan and delivery for verticals and regional support, assessing content needs for tools, templates, project plans and other systems or procedures.
  • Create powerful story narratives that visually communicate the value of Procore
  • Peer mentorship and coaching: lead and enforce the continuous improvement of content standards for the Technical Marketing team, working closely with the Director of Technical Marketing to establish and expand content and media types, evaluate and implement new technical tools that improve efficiency and quality, and directly help in developing the technical competencies of colleagues in the team.

What we’re looking for:

  • Exceptional skills in cross-organizational project and program management, including experience working with senior level executives in a medium or large organization. 
  • Five years or more experience as a Technical Marketing or very similar type of role (such as lead in Sales Engineering/Solution Consulting) delivering product visuals for large audiences/reach  in partnership with executive leaders. 
  • Presentation Skills: background in presenting, facilitating and creating presentation materials on a large scale with multiple audience types, including delivery in live, virtual, classroom, and recorded environments.
  • Production Skills: Strong writing, video, photo editing, and/or demo creation experience, including an appetite for applying new technologies and techniques including AI resources. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro is a strong plus.
  • Possesses strong business acumen, strategic thinking skills, negotiating skills, & the  ability to work across business lines. Proactively identifies opportunities to expand Technical Marketing value within the company.
  • Ability to proactively anticipate obstacles and create solutions.
  • Possess a strong work ethic, can-do attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Passion for new technology, improving the lives of those in the construction industry, and product marketing.
  • Willing to work flexibly to accommodate multiple time zones and geography.
  • Travel 10-15% of time (up to 25% depending upon location). 

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $160,000 - $220,000. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
