This position reports to the Vice President for Runtime Platform and will be based in our Cairo office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the team to engage with our next-generation platform, focusing on distributed systems, internal developer experience, and ease of adoption.

• Act as a platform evangelist by creating documentation, leading training, and sharing best practices to enable internal teams.

• Drive engineering teams through all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring platform stability, observability, and compliance.

• Identify and propose solutions for technical gaps by running proof of concepts and experiments within the cloud ecosystem.

• Partner with Product, UX, and IT teams to influence the product roadmap and deliver solutions that enhance developer productivity.

• Guide the team using Agile methodologies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Mentor and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

• Oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and aligned with company objectives.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of combined experience in Infrastructure, Platform, and/or Software Engineering.

• 1+ years of experience leading engineering teams.

• Proven ability to lead technical enablement initiatives and drive the adoption of new platform features.

• Experience reducing the cognitive load on internal product teams by building intuitive platform tools.

• Previous experience with compliance and regulatory requirements such as SOC2, SOX, or CMMC.

• Technical proficiency with Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), Kubernetes (Helm, Kustomize), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (ArgoCD, CircleCI, or Github Actions) and REST API development.
