We’re looking for a Corporate Strategy Program Manager to join Procore’s Corporate Strategy & Execution team.
In this role, you will partner with the broader Corporate Strategy team to help shape the development of and drive the execution of corporate initiatives in support of short, mid, and long-term growth strategies for Procore. You will do this by working with cross-functional leads to track and direct the progress of initiatives within the annual plan. You will be a key driver of the most important cross-functional corporate initiatives by managing dependencies and risks, creating mitigation strategies, and framing trade-offs/decisions points to leadership to improve the execution of the strategy.
You will partner with stakeholders across the organization to enhance business operations, manage business-critical cross-functional program plans, and drive analysis and recommendations to optimize in-year execution.
This position reports to the Director, Strategy & Execution and will be based in our Carpinteria, San Francisco, or Austin office, or remotely. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
Partner with the Director, Strategy & Execution to run the corporate operating cadence and assist in quarterbacking aspects of the month-to-month business operations to ensure cross-functional accountability to the execution of the corporate strategy and the business metrics that drive growth
Work closely with leads within your initiatives to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, and schedules
You will act as a thought partner to the leaders of Procore’s most strategic initiatives to help them identify opportunities/issues and develop high-quality and actionable recommendations that improve in-year execution
When problems occur for your initiatives, you will lead strategic assessments, perform business analysis, and develop recommendations to drive major decisions for the company that keep Procore’s Annual Plan on track
Ensure accurate reporting of progress to milestones and key business metrics as well as lead the business case to scoping to funding process for initiatives within the company’s strategic portfolio
Support the annual planning process to help evaluate potential initiatives across the business and recommend funding and sequence to senior leaders
Regularly assess and review the strategic portfolio and your initiatives to identify opportunities for adjustments to deliver on the strategic vision
Drive strategic in-year execution and help inform business decisions that impact your initiatives through analysis, research, and insights
Remove roadblocks within your initiatives to ensure successful delivery
Manage interdependencies within and across programs to ensure alignment and awareness across teams
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree, and MBA are highly desirable
3+ years of program management work experience
Thorough understanding of program management techniques and methods
Experience in enterprise software / SaaS a plus
A structured thinker who has the ability to take initially ill-defined or abstract opportunities/solution ideas and create a structured way of understanding them and building execution plans to tackle the opportunities
Demonstrated experience operating in uncertainty and creating clarity, structure, and a plan, and who has the conviction and force of personality to then champion and drive teams across the organization to execute.
Proven track record to manage cross-functional initiatives and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, sometimes unstructured environment
Ability to develop deep trust-based relationships and guide different stakeholder groups directly and indirectly
Sophisticated quantitative aptitude and problem-solving capabilities; ability to prioritize workflow and manage multiple projects with minimal direction and a commitment to improvement
Persuasive communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to tailor communications to a broad range of internal and external audiences
Additional Information
Base Pay Range $96,600-$132,825. Eligible for Equity Compensation.
