Procore is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Business Systems Analyst for Legal Technologies. The ideal candidate will be a pivotal member of our team, responsible for implementing large and complex systems projects within the legal domain, ensuring alignment with business goals, and providing strategic insights.

As a Staff Business Systems Analyst you will lead medium to large systems projects and initiatives, driving significant business outcomes and improvements across our legal technology stack. Additionally, this role will operate with minimal supervision and is expected to mentor and guide junior and senior analysts, and significantly influence strategic decisions within the organization related to legal technologies.
What you’ll do:
System Analysis and Design: Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of legal technology systems. Conduct detailed analysis of legal business processes and identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement. Design information system solutions that address legal business requirements, working closely with legal business partners and cross-functional teams to implement them. Serve as a technical advisor, leading recommendations for new legal systems and updates to platform architecture.
Legal Technologies Subject Matter Expert: Develop a deep understanding of legal business processes and systems. Possess in-depth knowledge of legal operations, contract lifecycle management, data privacy, and compliance processes, systems, and related technologies. Serve as a point of expertise on legal system features and capabilities, including Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms (specifically Ironclad), Salesforce managed packages for contract generation and submission to Ironclad, SimpleLegal for legal spend and matter management, OneTrust for data privacy and compliance tracking and vendor review processes, and e-signature tools like DocuSign.
Technical Solution Design for Business Outcomes: Design system solutions that address legal business requirements and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement them. Ensure alignment with Legal, Revenue, and Finance needs, corporate objectives, and IT standards. This includes optimizing workflows between Salesforce and Ironclad for seamless contract management.
System Administration / Support: Ensure legal systems comply with relevant regulations and internal policies supporting company controls. Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive legal data. Provide training and support to end-users on legal technology platforms. Develop user manuals and documentation to facilitate the effective use of legal systems. Perform in-depth troubleshooting and problem-solving for complex legal technology issues.
Troubleshooting: Perform in-depth troubleshooting and problem-solving for complex issues across the legal technology stack. Use advanced tools and techniques to diagnose and resolve system and process problems. Develop and implement solutions to prevent recurrence of issues. Create comprehensive documentation of troubleshooting processes and solutions. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend enhancements to prevent future issues.

What We're Looking For:
8+ years of relevant industry or consulting experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Legal Technologies and processes, preferably at SaaS companies.
Demonstrated experience and expertise with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, with a strong preference for Ironclad. Knowledge of other legal technology platforms such as SimpleLegal, OneTrust, and DocuSign would be a significant advantage.
Expertise with Ironclad workflows, Ironclad API integrations, and Salesforce integration with CLM systems is a MUST, as you'll be heavily involved in these areas and partner with integration teams.
A self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to legal business users of varying levels of technical expertise.
Experience with broader legal technology processes, including contract intake, negotiation, execution, data privacy compliance, vendor risk assessment, and legal spend management.
Must be customer-focused and work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Sales, Finance, and IT.
A growth mindset and a desire to stay up-to-date with emerging legal technologies, including Legal AI tools and their potential applications.
Experience with Agile methodologies and scrum for project delivery.
Experience promoting changes across development, test, and production environments for legal systems.
As we are a global company and support users across multiple time zones, you may be asked to work ‘on-call’ or on a rotational shift basis. This could include weekends, but typically only during critical project phases or quarter-ends.
Nice to Have:
Certifications related to legal technology platforms (e.g., Ironclad, Salesforce Administrator).
Salesforce (Lightning) experience, particularly with managed packages and custom objects relevant to legal processes / Draft Quoting, Order Form, and SSA Terms
Experience with application integrations and data validation for legal systems.
Previous experience with APIs and query languages specific to legal platforms (e.g., Ironclad API, Salesforce SOQL).
Experience with Jira & Confluence for project and documentation management.
Familiarity with legal operations best practices and regulatory compliance requirements.
Experience working with a global team across multiple time zones.
Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in legal systems, including AI and automation.
Experience in change management and process re-engineering within legal departments.
Additional Information
Base Pay Range $127,680 - $175,560. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
